“Muslims are not a race.”
Sure and yet, racists have never been too picky about accuracy when it comes to who they target. Muslims around the world are persecuted, profiled, and murdered because of how they look, dress, or pray not because someone did a deep theological review of their beliefs. Pretending that “it’s not racist if I call it religion” is just cowardly word gymnastics to justify bigotry.

"Criticising Islam isn’t racist.”
Criticizing a belief system is fair game. Demonising over a billion people, stereotyping them as violent or backward, or using “critique” as camouflage for hate is not. There’s a difference between intellectual critique and obsessional hostility. You’re not debating you’re dehumanising.

“Islam is unreformed / political.”
Every major religion has political strands and periods of stagnation and reform. Christianity ran empires and crusades. Judaism has political Zionism. Hindu nationalism fuels violence in India. But funny how reformonly seems to be demanded when the religion in question isn’t white or Western.

“Islamophobia is a made-up word.”
No, it’s a made-up word for a very real problem just like antisemitism or homophobia. It names a pattern of prejudice, hate crimes, discrimination, and demonization. You don’t erase reality by nitpicking vocabulary.
“In a free society, everything’s up for debate.”Cool and that includes your ignorance. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from being roasted for hiding hate behind “debate.”

So yeah, talk all you want.
Just don’t confuse your obsession with Muslims for critical thinking.
