“Residential school survivors knew where the children were buried because some of them had dug their graves. They told their truths to the TRC & gave the country a plan in 94 calls to action. The survivors must have felt they were screaming into silence.” https://t.co/rKGRkXluQZ
Connecting to your idea of mental health in education, I think that students may sometimes also feel like a number rather than a person, which makes it difficult to succeed, more one-on-one teaching and check-ins are often lacking! @EM203jnegri#EM203problems
@EM203AMughal I liked your concept map on reducing the effects of global warming! A problem associated with global warming are our global carbon emissions. Scientists tell us that we need to reduce global carbon emissions by at least 40% by 2030. #em203problems
The first few weeks of this course have really opened my eyes to several digital learning concepts. In particular, I learned what it means to be constructivist and will be trying to implement these lessons into my every day life. I also learned I cannot multi-task! #EM203Robin
@massara61119708 I took this class because I heard it’s not hard but now I’m actually connecting with and thinking about the material we are learning. It is interesting to reflect on how technology influences our learning.
@EM203mscott Hey Morgan! I also love getting to engage in discussions through online courses! Part of what I miss about in person lectures was getting the opportunity to meet new people and discuss course material so I am glad we still have that opportunity!
@EM203hsrah Hi Harneet! I like your tweet; I agree! Its very interesting to think about what benefits we gain from technology and how it hinders us. Before this class I never really thought about how technology really has changed the way we receive information and learn.
