Hate me, impeach me, set up political movements to counteract my worldview, live in fear of what I might do next - BUT PLEASE DON’T BAN ME FROM SOCIAL MEDIA, PLEEEAASE! I’ll do and say anything you want to prevent that
@_JonathanEssex @RedhillGreens Cllr Ruth Ritter thank you for the immense work you do. Lovely to receive a leaflet that actually represents the issues in Earlswood. Thank you & best wishes to @hal_roaming helped so much with a police issue in 2019. #cllrswholisten
@wouldrachel @DianeBr73550564 @_JonathanEssex Yes why not. We used to do it from St. John’s to woodhatch. Using hospital gloves. Or washing up gloves. Competition for who can pick the most. You might end up with ten bags or more. Hopefully people will stop dropping litter, that’s the dream !
@wouldrachel@_JonathanEssex David from council does equipment for council sponsored litterpicks. You could contact him but he tends to be busy so not sure when will answer. Before the council thing me and family would go out with washing up gloves and pick up cans and bottles, take to bin. Kids love it.

@wouldrachel @hal_roaming @_JonathanEssex Pickers are cheap enough online. Then just household/gardening gloves will suffice. Collect litter in refuse sack and put in the fortnightly bin. It was a shame one in Earlswood was cancelled last weekend. I look forward to when the community can do one again 😁 Also 🌳 planting!
Today is #WorldTeachersDay
A big thank you to all those inspirational Teachers and school staff that have helped us to get where we are today. 👩🏼🏫👨🏻🏫🧑🏾🏫 You are all incredible 🙌🏻
❗UPDATE❗Tests carried out at Earlswood Lakes on 24 Aug confirm a case of blue-green algae. Visitors should avoid contact with the water and dog owners should not let their pets swim or drink from the lakes. The algae releases toxins that can be harmful to humans and dogs. (1/3)
There is no such thing as "the news". At any time, millions of events and trends are happening around the world. Editors select a tiny handful of them and declare them newsworthy.
And, with the help of thinktanks and lobbyists, they invent stories out of thin air.
We said we’d beat the frackers and we did.
We said offshore wind could be the cheapest source of electricity and it is.
We said we could have power without dirty, polluting coal and we have.
Together we really can create a better world.
