It has been brought to my attention that several other rescue “advocates” feel they should stand their ground and not pay ESCALATED kill lot bail prices. They refuse to support or help pull these last 8 thoroughbreds out. All are lame and in very POOR shape. They need us! 🙏🏻

Please help me and Hal intercept these 2 beautiful souls before they go to Bastrop kill lot in the morning. This poor skinny boy is an OTTB gelding and the mare may be a QH. This awful kill buyer will let us to intercept both for $900 but we will need $350 ea QT for @HalParker9

@EquineAltitude After the healing process we will have to remove the proud flesh, she is a tough girl and already been through a lot this is just a small set back for Lunar Girl, she is going to be fine. Thanks Dina for all you do!

@EquineAltitude We have her wound all clean, she does have a little tendon damage and there is already proud flesh present. We are hoping with the amazing cell stem cream, antibiotics and a little time Lunar Girl will be ready for a new home.

Tough day talking to former connections. She broke her pelvis at 4yrs old in a starting gate and broke 5 of the 6 major bones in her knee at 6....now this. *second two pictures are a bit tough to view... please don't if you're squeamish😔
