You can tell Lou that the first drummer for The Beatles before Pete Best was someone named Tommy Moore. He was quite a bit older and his girlfriend wanted him to get a proper job so he took a job with the Garston Bottleworks factory.

I sent this to Sid earlier when he had Dr. Michalos on but he didn't get a chance to ask these questions. A good medical show NOT hosted by a holistic doctor would be a great addition on weekends! Questions like these need to be discussed more often.
@sidrosenberg19@netanyahu Sparkling water at that table? Where's the Dr. Brown's soda and the seltzer? I also don't see the plates of halupches, luxtion, kishke, kashe varnishkes and kugel!
@DominicTV How can you and WABC ignore the biggest story of the day? The news updates are mentioning it every hour. It might cost the city a fortune in lawsuits and could sully the reputation of a lot of famous people. We're tired of this Lindsay Clancy story.

@HoffWFAN Why did the Jets bring Bailey Zappe into camp? Mike White gave us some of the most exciting games at QB we've seen in a decade. He's currently a free agent. How about giving the guy who broke 5 ribs for the team another chance...at least for the practice squad?!
@sidrosenberg19 Neil Diamond graduated from Lincoln High School the year after Sedaka graduated. Neil Diamond transferred from Erasmus Hall. At the same time they were there, Marv Albert was also walking around the halls of Lincoln. At the time he was known as Marv Aufrichtig.
@DominicTV Dominic - were you aware that ABC story with David Muir about Carter Baumler making the baseball team is almost 5 months old?
Why was it played?

@HowieRose One day before that Shea Stadium show, on August 14th 1965, The Beatles taped The Ed Sullivan Show. It would be broadcast September 12th, 1965 and was the last black and white telecast of the Sullivan Show.

@papa3671591@HowieRose When I would sit up in the grandstand, I had such a fear of the height that it took me two innings to get over it and work up the courage to walk down to the concession stands. Looking down from the escalator that led up to the grandstands was something else entirely.

That was the last black and white broadcast of the Ed Sullivan Show. It also included Soupy Sales who sang The Mouse and Alan and Rossi who did a parody of "She Loves You". The show went to a color broadcast the next week.

O'Reilly just said today is the 60th anniversary of The Beatles last appearance on the Sullivan Show. WRONG! The Beatles were taped live for the final time on 8/14/65. The performance was broadcast on 9/12/65.
@CMacWFAN Did I just hear Craig say that Mrs. Robinson was a CSNY classic?!
They had nothing to do with that song. That was a huge hit for Simon and Garfunkel.
Craig is some shmo!
