@SenatorWarnock Senator, the US Supreme Court is stating carving out Congressional districts based on race is unconstitutional. Engaging in hyperbole such as you do does not strengthen your argument and cheapens your title as a US Senator.
@NoPardonNeeded@cenkuygur That’s exactly the Israeli position. They are under attack from all sides since the UN granted them statehood. They’ve done some reprehensible things for sure, but they are a sovereign state and deserve to defend themselves
The Lebanese government has done very little to reign in anti Israel factions in their wars against Israel. In each war, Israel established a security zone I Lebanon, but returned the land after tensions eased. It will happen again after Hezbollah and the Lebanese government has had enough.
What land has Israel stolen? If you are talking about the Gaza Strip and the West Bank that they won in the 1967 war, it would be good to turn over complete control to the residents for sure, but history has proven that the Palestinians will not rest until Israel is wiped off the map. The Sinai Peninsula was returned to Egypt and they have relative peace with Israel.
Aboard ship, very few things are scarier than a fire. Fires can spread pretty quickly and water used on fighting the fire inevitably causes electrical problems, leading to pitch black conditions inside the ship. For this reason, every sailor aboard a US Navy ship goes through shipboard firefighting training and everyone is a firefighter during an actual conflagration.
This is not a backyard concrete pad. The helipad must be reinforced, use 4,000 to 5,000 PSI compression concrete and be 6 in thick. It must also be properly graded so as to allow for rain runoff. It must also be placed so as to allow for safe ingress and egress. Not sure why it would cost $5M (it IS a govt contract project so that might be an explanation), but it’s significantly more than a couple hundred bucks and a couple of neighbors helping out.
@Conctete1@seanmack1025@WilliamT4479@SenPeterWelch Crime is not ok with me. I am pointing out the differences in our immigration laws. Those that overstay visas and enter our country illegally should be deported and face the criminal consequences.
@seanmack1025@WilliamT4479@SenPeterWelch It is a civil offense only if one enters the country with a visa and remains after the visa expires. If one doesn’t leave after a legal deportation order, it become a criminal offense. Entering the country illegally is a misdemeanor offense. Reentering is a felony.
@AndrewMarinel10@Br_MoonPhrog@jonathanparnell One can question the activities of a church leader and protest legally all day long. But entering the church, especially during a service for the purpose of disruption is a violation of the FACE Act.
