The most important thing you can do as a parent is focus on raising your children in such a way that they are regular in their salah & Qur'an & know the Prophet (pbuh) & try to be like him. When the young hold tightly to the rope of Allah swt, their duas will iA save the ummah 🤲🏼
When you have small children, you may feel restricted in the amount of ibaadah or worship that you can do during Ramadan. It should comfort you to know that taking care of your small children and tending to their needs is also a form of ibaadah.

We teach our kids to lie.
When we overreact to their mistakes, they learn to tell us what we want to hear.
Own it. Teach them by your own example what honesty looks like.
Be okay when they admit mistakes and help them learn from it.
Giving your child a voice in your family decisions is not a sign of weakness. Feeling heard is critical to feeling valued and that you belong. If anything, doing so will empower your children and strengthen your family bond.

That doesn't mean it's okay to threaten, withhold love, ignore or yell at your children either.
Abuse is still abuse - it doesn't have to be physical.
Emotional abuse can hurt for a lifetime.

"Parenting is such a mighty matter in Islam that on the Day of Judgement, Allah will ask the child about the effectiveness of the parent, before asking the parent about the obedience of the child."
Ibn Al Qayyim
Half the battle of motherhood is trying to gently guide your children to the straight path while trying to do the same for yourself.

You may think that it doesn't matter if you hit your kids - after all, you're the boss in your own home.
But Allah swt is the master of us all and we must answer to Him how we treated the vulnerable in our care.
