In the end, Donte beat his classmate in fencing even though he tripped Donte and then wore a powerful shirt with the statement that "race is not a color" to his uniform wearing school. What a way to show that we are all human!

One major thing that I noticed, that was mentioned, is that racial equality was not the only social issue being confronted in this book. Class and socioeconomic issues were also talked about when it came to the opportunities of sports #asureads22 #blackbrotherblackbrother22 (4/5)
