@JamieAdStories There’s something unmatched about physical books. It’s almost like paperbacks have a soul the smell of the pages, and the feeling of physically moving through a journey. Ebooks are pure convenience, but paperbacks are real companions.
@motorcycles_4 Perfect for a Dark Fantasy or Gothic Fiction cover don’t you think?

The bones before the beauty. My favorite part of the creation process is watching the soul of the final piece emerge from nothing but rough sketches. I think I might even love the rough pencil sketch phase more than the final render.
Trust the process✨

@KarstenBeoulve Step away from the canvas for a couple of days to rest your eyes, your hand and vision are definitely improving even if burnout is hiding it right now.
@KarstenBeoulve You’re staring at it too closely after spending hours on it. The vivid color choices especially that warm hair against the muted forest background really draw the eye and establish a great mood. The pose and weapon placement tell a cool story.

@marintkael Good eye! The land routes were drawn around regional resources (timber, iron, spices) and natural mountain passes, while the maritime routes were fitted along the coastlines after the landmass was finalized to follow logical port-to-port shipping lanes.

WRITERS! Stop creating rules for yourselves:
-You don't have to write every day
-Not being published in a year isn't a failure
-Having to do multiple rounds of revisions is common
-No one is looking over your shoulder and judging you
-All that matters is that you keep writing
@StephenQRitter@nihilists4jesus As an artist, I’m always curious about how authors feel when they finally see their words translated into an image. Did the cover end up looking anything like what you originally pictured while writing it?
