@ProfessorStacie The most surprising thing to me has been how blunt children are. While doing my observation hours I’ve heard many tall tales from kids, most of which have been none sense. They are also always the first to point out if you are dressed weird.

@ProfessorStacie TCAP is a great tool for evaluation on students and teachers, but is the stress caused really worth it? If it was simply an evaluation and not a major part of students grades then I could see it’s benefits more. An all or nothing test like that kills it’s benefits.

@ProfessorStacie It’s important to become connected with each student because in doing so you will make your class feel safer and encourage them to learn better. Students all learn differently and if you connect with them you will learn how they each individually learn.

@ProfessorStacie I want to be remembered as the teacher that helped a student when they were struggling. Many teachers in my past weren’t understanding of my situations and it negatively affected how I put in effort in their classes. I would hope to be remembered as one of the few who helped.
