⚒️COMMITTED⚒️

After a long process and a lot of hard work over the years, I’m ecstatic to announce my commitment to The Colorado School of Mines!!!

First, I want to thank my parents for being the ones to support and guide me throughout not only this process, but my life.

I also want to thank all the coaches that have developed me into the athlete that I am today.

Thank you to @CoachGrigs619, @COACHMCLAU, @CoachBobStitt, and the rest of the @MinesFootball coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity!

I’m beyond excited to be an Oredigger and make Golden my new home!!!

[KATY PERRY @katyperry]

I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.

I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.

My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.

So. This weekend, I went to see the Lilo & Stitch remake with my wife, niece, and nephew.

I thought it was bad. But the more I sit on it and think about what I saw, I didn't just not like it, I'm actually angry how badly Disney mutilated the original message of this movie.

A Northside Independent School District board meeting turned into a call for action Tuesday night after several current and former special education teachers filled the meeting to voice their frustrations and concerns. https://t.co/RiGAuC16nC

[Among the Wildflowers @deaflibertarian]

A cop pulled me over after he saw me signing to my kid at the gas station, and he was confused why a deaf person was driving! He even called for back up though I had a valid driver’s license and insurance that clearly prove I am a licensed driver. He refused to write on paper to communicate, and refused to read my written note. He just kept yelling at me, as if that would help me understand him somehow. Thank goodness the backup cop had common sense, and I didn’t get shot during the ordeal for “noncompliance.”

I give up! People are just too fucking stupid!!!

An apartment fire in Leon Valley has left several families without a home and the people who live in that community said they are outraged. https://t.co/WSLUiY7ZMs

2/2 Family & friends call her Shay. They wear t-shirts with her image & wear worry on their faces. They hope someone recognizes her. @PhillyPolice hope so too. Shay was last seen at her grandmother’s home in the 4600 block of Fairmount Ave. in West Philadelphia.
