This isn’t a success story.
This is the story of a system designed to allow the obscenely wealthy and powerful exploit taxpayers and the working class to transfer wealth to themselves, while the majority of Americans struggle to afford basic necessities.
I really don’t understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, you’d have to physically stop me from solving as many of the world’s problems as possible.
Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness.
I just don’t get it.
When a pardoned drug lord gets a taxpayer-funded tactical escort to the Waldorf Astoria instead of facing an ICE hold, the system is broken.
I held up @ProPublica’s investigation in committee to demand a ban on special treatment for powerful criminals. My Republican colleagues voted it down, but I’m taking this to the Rules Committee next.
Normally you wouldn’t increase the likelihood of US casualties by announcing something like this ahead of time, unless you are bluffing to use it as a negotiating ploy, you are stupid, you don’t really care about the troops, or all three.
There's actually legislation in Califomia to shorten the workweek from 40 hours to 32 hours without a reduction in pay, which would be the most transformative labor legislation in our generation, and it should be bigger news but it barely made a headline.
No one earns a billion dollars. Billionaires exist because millions of workers are paid far less than the value they create. Nobody works a billion times harder than a nurse, a farmer, or a teacher. Stop glorifying wealth hoarders. They’re just professional wage thieves.
Even Fox News is FORCED to admit Trump’s DOJ is led by weaponized liars:
"At the end of the podcast, Mr. Hannity’s producers posted a disclaimer in all capital letters, slapping asterisks on almost every person Mr. Blanche had discussed.”
The Disclaimer: “John Brennan, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Matthew Colangelo, Arthur Engoron and James Clapper have not been charged with any crimes in connection with any alleged conspiracy. Charges against James Comey related to alleged false statements and obstruction have been dismissed. There have been no findings that Rod Rosenstein, Tim Walz, Gavin Newsom or Jacob Frey engaged in professional misconduct.”

It’s absolutely treasonous that 97% of members of Congress believe a foreign country’s account of the attack, and not the first hand testimony of our own veterans.
I appreciate the efforts of Thomas Massie, but at this point, we are not sovereign.
