He needs to spend SIGNIFICANT time in the minors to see if he can figure something out. And him going on his 3 game hot streak and then turning back into a pumpkin won't help.

He's not in a slump. This is who he is. We have a shortstop on the roster who is better at every facet of the game. There is zero reason for Volpe to ever get another start this year besides injury.
