I know a lot of people like that trope: stoic and mysterious Leon who doesn’t talk much and keeps his emotions to himself.

However, I don’t see him like that at all. In every title he shows up in, he’s full of emotions and words, mostly about Raccoon City and his own trauma. He doesn’t deny it, doesn’t try to look tough. He just shares his story with people who need to hear it: Angela, Ashley, Luis, Jason, Patrick, Sasha. Even knowing that Chris understands it better than anyone else, Leon still never hides the truth from him. Then Grace in RE9, like a cherry on top.

Leon is a people person, and yeah, he can sit in silence and listen to other people talk — he’s a good listener. But what I like most about his character is that he’s sincere about his emotions no matter what.

I never compare VA’s and characters because i completely see them separate but hearing from people that Nick and Stephanie stayed behind to make sure all fans got their moments. It makes me happy that our Claire and Leon are voiced by the correct people. They GOATs!
