elo. now Sona's low elo extends all the way up through the majority of solo queue, absolutely. but in truly high level games, it's a bad champion. imagine playing in LCK finals and trying to enchant with 400 RANGE πππ
imagine looking for an extended teamfight πππ
we can't stop talking about Sona so let's analyze her abilities to find what's OP about her. ASSUME MAX PASSIVE STACKS.
ult: bad. have you seen other enchanters' ults? yes, Sona's is bad in comparison. it's no longer season 3 where Sona was an ult bot.
E: bad. the MS is weak...
spread her auras. and I will say it loud and clear for the last time: YOU HAVE 400 RANGE.
how do you plan on applying that to your Jax who just jumped in? how about when a supposed good pairing, Lucian, is dashing around?
Sona is good in low elo like Morgana is good in low...
@drewlevin I've heard infinitely many times that 1st timing is legal. off-meta is allowed. you said it in your tweet, Rioters on reddit say it, it's told to me when I'm frustrated that I have an Ivern OTP 1st timing AP Vayne.
we have established that all lobby choices are valid, yes? so...
imagine if I get banned for stating THE LITERAL RULE that all decisions are allowed in champ select.
@drewlevin, I agree there is such a thing as negatively hostaging if you spark negativity. this is the precise opposite of that. I'm an off-meta player, my teammates are...
.@drewlevin is there anything that can be done about this? this guy has been doing this for over a week now, ive never gotten his ign because someone always dodges, this is around 300lp masters on NA
would you like to see the more methodical GenG counter with Sona? you got your lane against non-engage. you're not playing in pisslow where the noobs only know how to fistfight and not appreciate Sona's auras.
will you pick it in game 5 bro?

I would flip through these VODs to check more but it seems to always be jg/sup prio. which must be EUW global if you're saying top is low population in EUW high elo
does this mean jg and sup are currently the most, or least popular roles? @drewlevin
I believe it's the latter, so how does it make sense that I got mid twice in a row when queueing sup/mid?
I don't mind getting filled if I'm queueing for the hottest role but I'm not?
@drewlevin@ISkyI_TwitchTV I tried to think of a high elo EUW player who changes role (otherwise you can't see the role prio) and it was hard because most just requeue the same. but Drututt came to mind on his 5 role challenge. here are some timestamps of him queueing up.

@ISkyI_TwitchTV@drewlevin maybe filter by MMR or just remove it entirely then, don't see any point in having it mislead everyone by always showing the whole server.
that means it's also basically stuck on jg/sup at all times, idk if it's meant to just encourage people to play these roles or what
for all the flaming we do, it stays in LoL because it's just a video game. but the one thing that transcends the game and has IRL implications, is when ppl refuse to challenge their silly gaming beliefs in the presence of evidence.
I'll use Draven's synergies as an example. π§΅
in this particular case, it results in thousands of Dravens, ADCs, and players alike, who end up saying gg, Xerath with Draven, insta loss! and it probably drags the winrate down tbh.
it's stupid but you know what, they haven't seen the data. at least they're ignorant. but...
