Four years ago, I teamed up with @EricHolder to launch @AllOnTheLine. The goal was to take on gerrymandering and make democracy more representative.
Since then, they’ve made incredible progress – including helping secure what is by some measures the fairest congressional map in 40 years, and helping win two landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court: Moore v. Harper and Allen v. Milligan.
Since SCOTUS gutted the Voting Rights Act, states and localities have reverted to discriminatory practices that limit the freedom to vote for voters of color, Indigenous voters, voters with disabilities and more.
The ballot can't be blocked. Time to protect the VOTE.

The freedom to vote is undeniably tied to our ability to take a stand against anti-democratic extremists trying to take away our rights and freedoms. #VRA58
So fiscally irresponsible and inhumane not to fully expand Medicaid. States across the country have demonstrated that the savings in improved health pays for the program. And we are giving our hard earned tax dollars to other states. #FullMedicaidExpansionNow#gapol
Truly never miss an opportunity. Here’s the truth: Fitch cited bad governance, particularly from republicans holding our economy hostage when they don’t get what they want, as the reason we were downgraded. #GAPol
Despite craven politicians trying to usurp the power of the people, tonight democracy won again in Tennessee.
Congratulations, @Justinjpearson , @brotherjones_. Keep up the good and necessary trouble.
Bidenomics is working. Manufacturing jobs are coming back, roads and bridges are being built, broadband infrastructure is coming to rural Georgia, inflation is down, and wages are up!

“The Office of Violence Reduction is a pretty explicit example that [...] there is a whole lot of language about holistic approaches including violence prevention, but a majority of that funding was going to the police, anyway." https://t.co/00DDN7GxmV
When I make decisions about what we ought to be doing to protect consumers, I’m guided by what’s best for the people at home.
That’s why I’m pushing to ban Members of Congress from owning stock so the American people know their interests are represented.

This is a total lie from Brian Kemp. Fitch Ratings directly cited MAGA Republicans' reckless brinksmanship with our economy and Trump’s Jan. 6 Insurrection as the reasons for this downgrade.
Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin on Justice Alito: "Alito is providing speculative public commentary on a bill that is still going through the legislative process. Let's be clear: Justice Alito is not the 101st member of the United States Senate. His intervention in Article I activity is unwise and unwelcome."
