Happy St Andrew’s Day! 🏴✨
Today we celebrate Scotland’s patron saint — a day of community, heritage, and pride.
Wishing all our students, staff, families and our wider community a wonderful St Andrew’s Day! 💙🤍

Our Lantern of Remembrance, Peace & Hope is shining brightly as a Beacon across from our Garden of Remembrance. The shining light ensure that Remembrance continues each and every day. @hallmead
Our Service of Remembrance saw the Torch of Remembrance being passed onto the next generation. This symbolic handover reflects our mission to ensure that those who served and sacrificed are never forgotten and that their story lives on. @hallmead
We also take this opportunity to fondly remember our colleague and friend, Elaine Evans, who passed away on Remembrance Day. Her wreath was laid by Ms Outram and Ms Read @hallmead
The whole @hallmead community paused today, 11am, to remember the fallen, those who served and their sacrifices given for our freedoms. Thank you to Mr Smith for a wonderful ceremony and for always instilling the importance of remembrance with our students #WeWillRememberThem
Today is Remembrnace Day and @hallmead will fall silent at 11am for the National 2-minutes silence.
The Academy Service of Remembrance takes place this morning to honour those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

“Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.”
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We Will Remember Them
