The National Cup dream is over for the Year 10 football team as they lost to a very strong Coopers side. Focus turns to the Essex Cup in a week's time. ⚽️
Y8&9 Girls lost to Shenfield today in their first contact fixture outside a festival day. A spirited performance with all girls showing heart and grit, especially in a much improved second half. Tries scored by Lyla T and Eadi F. @hallmead@HallMeadPastor1
The Year 9 football team made it 3 wins in 3 last night with a solid performance against Bower Park. This puts us in a great position to qualify for the semi-finals. ⚽️ @hallmead
The Year 9 B team travelled over to our ELAT friends this afternoon for a Havering Cup match. They came away with all 3 points in a closely contested match. Well played all 👏. @hallmead@BrittonsAcademy@elatrust
The Year 10 B team took the place of the A team for their Havering Cup fixture at Brittons today. An incredible performance from the boys meant we came away with the 3 points. 👏 @hallmead
Well done to the Year 9 football team, who put in a great performance to beat a very strong Emerson Park side. A team who we have lost to 3 times, including 2 Havering Cup finals. Well done boys! @hallmead
The Year 8 rugby team enjoyed a great day out at Essex Rugby Festival. They came away with 2 wins out of 4 games. A great experience had by all and something to build on for future games. @hallmead
Year 7 had their first game away at Woodlands on Monday. Some spirited individual performances, but it's safe to say we got a silver medal, not gold this time round. They go again at home to Royal Lib next Monday. @hallmead
Amazing start for the year 8 football team in the National Cup. 12-0 chicken dinners. Goals from Henry A-4, George F-3 and a goal each for Jack C, Harry P, Carter E, Abdalla A and a goal for Joel D with his first ever touch in a Hall Mead shirt! #onwardsandupwards.
Super proud of our U15 Girls Cricket team, celebrating their tier 2 win at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground today with some Essex legends! 🏏🥇👏@hallmead@EssexCCB
The Year 10 B team didn't start the season as they would have hoped this evening. A 3-1 loss to @emersonparkpe. A few things to improve on as they head into their next game. @hallmead@HallMeadPastor1
Year 8 are district cricket champions! In a competitive and close match against Emerson Park, year 8 won the district cup by 4 wickets. Seb took an impressive 3/10, but our man of the match was Henry, who scored 33 not out to see us home with 8 balls to spare! 🙌 🏏 🏆

Year 7 opened the House cricket competition today. It was chapman who took the title. Year 8, 9 & 10 competitions will take place next week. @hallmead@HallMeadPastor1
What a day for girls cricket! A fantastic achievement for both teams to reach the County finals. The U13s fought hard in their semi-final but just came short to a very strong side. The U15s took it to the wire🫣scoring 63, but held their opponents to 54! Essex champs!🏏@hallmead
Havering rounders champions 2025 🏆 well done to our amazing Year 8 rounders team who won all their matches to make it through to the semi final against Coopers and then final against Sanders! You are superstars! So proud of you girls! 🤩 @hallmead
Another fine display of all-round cricket from our Year 8 cricket team as they beat Campion. After a solid bowling and fielding display, Johnny B (19) and Henry B (15) knocked off the score of 64 within the 20 overs 👏 🏏 @hallmead@HallMeadPastor1
It’s been a mixed bag of results for the yr 10 boys cricket team this past week. A thrilling 1 wicket win v Plume last Friday in the Essex cup was followed by a big defeat by Westcliff this Wednesday! The ups and downs of sport! On to Coopers next Friday in the Havering cup.
