This morning, Hall held the annual 8th Grade CAASPP Cup assembly with competitions between Advisories in games including Soccer Bowling, Head Shoulders, Knees, and Cone, Wig Snatching, and a Mat Slide Race. A great time was had by all! #wearelcmsd ##hallmiddle

As part of #stresslessweek, Hall had a Talent Show at lunch in the gym. About half of the student body showed up to spend their precious lunch time watching their incredibly talented classmates sing, dance, and play piano. What a show! ##wearelcmsd #hallmiddle #talentshow

Students in 6th Grade Social Studies have been hard at work preparing artifacts and display boards for their Ancient River Civilizations Museum. Come by during Open House and see inventions and achievements from Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, & China! #wearelcmsd #hallmiddle

Students in 8th Grade Math have "Whiteboard Wednesdays" as a way to build skills such as collaboration, using content vocabulary, and deepening mathematical thinking through group problem solving. This will help our students differentiate themselves from the crowd. #wearelcmsd

Hall students in 6th Grade ELA engaged in Socratic Seminars this week, discussing questions they have written about "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" a true story about a young boy's experiences dealing with famine in Malawi. These discussions were high-level and very impressive!
