Severe storms have caused several semis to run off the roadway or turn over in the area of I-80 Alda interchange. Avoid area and I-80.

This morning at 0330 hours deputies responded to a crash in the area of Airport Rd and Burwick. A pick-up was East bound when it struck a downed tree from the storm. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the driver is not being released at this time.

On 8-1-19 at approximately 1608, deputies were detailed to interstate 80 near mile marker 296 reference a fatality accident involving one semi and one passenger vehicle. 33 yo Renee Kersting was pronounced deceased on scene and three juveniles were transported to the hospital
