Thanks so much for your support Countryfolk. Thought I quickly clarify a few things.. The reason I wasn’t there tonight, I’m sure you all understand given the AGM cancellations My statement… I will not be able to join you this evening. As some of you will know, I provide consultancy on commercial and business strategy to a large international Spanish company. In addition, I am committed to a significant project that concludes at the end of this month. While I have previously been able to support earlier AGMs, I cannot withdraw from this obligation for a third time. I had hoped to attend, having arranged flights, however circumstances changed at short notice. There are now additional meetings scheduled in Gibraltar and Seville on 15 and 19 October, which—logistically—conflict with the AGM. That said, modern technology allows day-to-day communication to remain seamless, and we can continue effectively even when we are not in the same room. I am actively involved in the consortium administering Hallam Change and, should you vote for me, I will continue progressing the CBS initiative—focused on building a strong team capable of delivering and operating successfully. Central to this is assembling the right team and ensuring we have the leadership necessary to guide with humility, transparency, and integrity—while encouraging effective communication and enabling others to contribute and thrive. My experience in both business and football equips me to influence and inspire others toward a shared goal and clear vision. I’m more than happy to answer any questions, and I can assure you that everything will be handled with professionalism and discretion. (Happy to receive DM’s) Please don’t judge us on this season. Won’t surprise you we have some fires to fight.… Already planning for next. Will try and remain competitive this season. Few hoops still to get through but we have an excellent plan. The new committee, and what a team, soaked with enthusiasm and belief. Been a fantastic campaign, hard to not get involved with some of the ridiculous comments. We must thank the outgoing committee who have contributed many hours that go unnoticed. Got the club to its highest position in history. I’m particularly disappointed that some endured personal insults that will not be tolerated. We are not in this for personal gain but to support the club we all love. So please respect everyone who puts countless unpaid hours for us all to enjoy and be proud of our club. If the plan isn’t working. We change the plan. Keep supporting us like you have been. We need you more than ever now. One reason as first team coach I fell in love with the place. Communication will be better. Already spoken to the Patto’s. All good. My phrase #LETS DO THIS!!
