Endodontic treatment of tooth 3-04. Dogs have three incisors on each side (so a canine's canine is a 4).

They also have more than 10 teeth per quadrant, so the zero is needed as a placeholder for all of those teeth.

A flipper is a temporary tooth often used to fill in spaces in a smile while the patient prepares for something more definitive.

A milled flipper is machined from a solid block of PMMA which gives the prosthesis a little extra durability.

@DrStraightSmile A milled flipper is an excellent choice. We typically use a monolithic PMMA. That means the palate is tooth coloured. Some people like to have pink on the palatal tissue, so an assembled flipper might be better for her.
