The idea that people are being prescribed prescription drugs in response to grief is offensive to me.
First... there is no such thing as an antidepressant or anti-grief. It's a marketing scam.
Most importantly... You need to feel that pain.
To experience loss is human.
Akathisia is reason enough not to take psychiatric drugs.
Responsible people do not encourage psychiatric drug use knowing that you can end up with tardive akathisia from just about every single psychiatric drug that can be prescribed. It’s very treatment refractory.
I cannot express this enough, you have NO IDEA what other people carry with them EVERYDAY. You have NO IDEA what someone's life is like.Don't create more pain & stress to others. BE KIND. BE GENUINE. Stop being so mean to people to fulfill whatever it is you don't like about you
I think non gamers underestimate how many people use gaming as their way to decompress after work, stress, burnout or just life.
For a lot of adults:
gaming IS self care.
@amandawinnlee He’s not taking meds away, he’s changing tapering guidelines that are already in place from 2-4 weeks to hyperbolic tapering. And alerting physicians that protracted withdrawal is real.
