Lance Uy Villanueva is HALO’s youngest member and all-around performer. A former standout student-athlete with a promising basketball future, Lance surprised even himself when a casual audition led him toward a career in music.

Kael Sy Mendoza is the leader and main vocalist of HALO. Born in Manila and raised partly in Vancouver, Canada, Kael grew up balancing two cultures while keeping his Filipino roots close through music.

Before joining HALO, he built an online following performing OPM covers that resonated with Filipinos around the world.

Known for his calm leadership, emotional intelligence, and warm vocals, Kael serves as the group’s steady anchor both on and off stage.
