I don't actually believe that he's letting cheating go on on purpose. I just believe that people trying to cheat in this game and cheat devs have more resources at their disposal than Nikita and BSG have to counter it. A lot of the ways they could Implement anti cheat or prevent rmt will also kneecap the game at this point. It's basically an endless game of cat and mouse where only a truly revolutionary solution will last and, even then, probably not for long.
@VeryBadSCAVR@domontovich I see escape from tarkov like the atlas Stone and Nikita as Sisyphus when it comes to communication to the players. You can argue if the burden is self-inflicted or not but, regardless, its seeming like all Sisyphus needed was one extra person to actually push it all the way
@Awk20000 Isn't this a call to authority? I thought he was against the establishment. I know he's not an anarchist but this still seems hypocritical. He wants the assistance of authorities but then will March and campaign against them
AK (assuming you are talking about 5.45) has a fire rate and a recoil amount that makes it an accurate hose at full auto even at mid-range. This means that you get more out of each magazine meaning that you're in the fight longer each fight before having to reload and make yourself vulnerable. You don't run out of bullets as fast and each bullet is more likely to hit meaning you need less.
You can get an AK down to the low 50s in vertical recoil.
Don't discount cheapness of parts or the gun itself either. The fact that it only takes two alkalines (which you can purchase from flea for like 40-60k total) to get a massive 95 round mag is great.
Also, finding good ammo easy and the only type that's easier would be 762x39 and even that is debatable.
Speaking of that caliber, the 762 AK is not much different. It just hits harder and has a bit more recoil but a lot of the same benefits are there. Pretty much all of them actually
Don't completely discount that idea. I think on the surface, me thinking about someone raiding my Hideout is a bit abhorrent. But I don't think you should completely throw that idea away. Maybe there's some way balancing it. It really comes down to if someone with more knowledge or time can simply dominate everyone else that doesn't. That's honestly when it comes down to with a lot of persistent mechanics like this or even just the game itself. I think knowledge and time should have a value but not to the point where someone can exploit it to screw everyone else over to a point where it's not fun
@SmojiiTTV Most likely ruined. I feel like BSG has an inability to properly Focus Group new mechanics or changes to fundamental pillars of the game.
I welcome them to change my mind, though. I hope they do!
Doubtful you're much older than me but okay.
Also you never addressed anything I just said. You have provided no evidence and it has been completely anecdotal. You have no idea what the design team was like or the attractiveness of the woman on that design team or their demeanor. You just said all conjecture. Refute that. I dare you
I think a lot of people don't understand that a monopoly ( in the colloquial sense) sort of implies that the company monopolizing is also doing things to make sure other companies can't encrpach o. Their near total domination in a very overt and aggressive way. Not two three or four degrees separated from their choices but directly.
Epic games literally gave away full AAA titles for free for years and years and continues to give away free games, albeit not as high quality games, to this day.
It didn't work. The platform was garbage and navigating around it was trash
They even incentivized Developers by having a better split than steam did at least initially.
Monopoly laws come about because, generally, in our greed based society, a company that's able to Corner the market will then drive the quality of the product down to increase profits while preventing other people from Gaining a foothold aggressively.
Do you deny that Steam is just the best place? Do you deny that it is a quality platform?
I think if epic games had just taken Steam as a starting example and done a lot of focus grouping on what things people don't like about steam (honestly not alot), they had every chance to make a much better platform. Especially with the money being thrown around there.
They just didn't.
I definitely agree with Monopoly laws, especially in the case of Industries such as Internet providing or cell phone service.
In these industries, they buy exclusivity to service areas, infrastructure and distribution chains so that no one else can even start up unless they have the amount of money that a company that is fully formed in that industry has. See the paradox?
This is what monopoly laws are trying to prevent. Not companies that actually provide a quality service that people just prefer 98% of the time.
Steam does very little if anything to prevent any other company from doing what it does. Every year that a company tries and fails is another year that Steam strengthens their foothold on the market. Not through nefarious means but by the fact they survive these attempts just by being themselves.
You may disagree if you want but I think you may just be ignoring that steam might be one of the few examples in human history where a company is just good. I'm not saying they're perfect or they don't do bad things occasionally. I just think overall they are a good company and I don't see the issue with them having such a large market share because they actually provide a good service
Omfg this guy is a walking contradiction. That's exactly what Adam did and it didn't work out at all
Also, I guarantee you you're not going to be okay with another guy plowing your wife. You're also not going to be okay with a lot of people looking at your wife naked. If you are then you're in a very small percentage of people. Most say they are okay but don't end up actually being okay.
You can't actually disagree with me until you have at least anecdotal evidence from your own life that says otherwise. If you do then hats off to you I'm wrong. Odds are you don't
@StephanDMcClure@Pirat_Nation Brother, everything you have said is based on Vibes conjecture and how you feel about the world anecdotally. The question mark I gave you is completely justified.
No. If it does and I don't know why that means I have some sort of cognitive dissonance. I don't like having that.
For instance, when I started playing overwatch, I kind of just played characters based on their aesthetic and moveset. I tried to ignore gender because that would just trap me into playing certain characters and that's boring. I see it as weak
I honestly think that it should apply to all Weaponry whether it's cultural or religious if there's going to be any law about it at all.
There are tons of things that, if you look far back enough, we don't do them anymore because the practice is outdated. Probably a lot of grisly and morbid things as well as things that are just not socially acceptable.
What seems to have happened is that people have picked and chosen which things they'd like to carry over and then defend them under the basis of culture or religion without any other defining reasoning.
We, as a society, have let go of many things from past tradition. I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to do that for some things that are currently still held. Does it really need to just naturally fall out of favor for people to stop caring? Isn't that a bit petty?
Make sure you loot all the stims from the first part medical area and the high value Electronics from the bottom area before the cutscene. If you do this each time and put them in your safe pouch, you basically pay for the Ingress. Then it's just gear. Whenever I've lost a few icebreakers in a row I just go run Ground Zero transit to streets transit to interchange Transit back to streets Transit back to ground zero. I use BTR each Transit as well as each time I go to streets. That Nets me enough for a bunch more runs as long as you're hitting up marked rooms Kiba Etc
@ethanaphant@xTerotex Crafting them in The Hideout has always been really cheap. The biggest expense with it is zagustin which you can also make if you have a steady stream of Grizzlies
You're not wrong in concept but I've actually gotten to the point where I'm running like bcpfmj for 762 NATO or m62 for the mcx
You certainly aren't wrong in your premise though at all. I just don't think that it requires good ammo. But yeah you need a lot of money for Icebreaker regardless. It definitely is late wipe economy
