Dear Algorithm,
Please send job seekers my way.
The ones applying and not hearing back.
The ones unsure of their next career move.
The ones struggling to position themselves for the roles they want.
My job is to help you navigate the job market, position yourself better, and increase your chances of getting hired 💗
Finding remote jobs shouldn’t require checking 10 different websites every day.
So I built a free job board that pulls opportunities from 30+ job boards into one place.
International and local remote roles. One search.
331 jobs are live right now.
Tech. Marketing. Design. Customer Service. Finance. HR. Sales. Operations.

One mistake I see a lot of candidates make is applying for roles they’re significantly overqualified for because they assume it gives them an advantage. In many cases, it doesn’t.
I posted a mid level design role last week that required 3 years of experience. A large number of applications came from candidates with 7–10 years of experience.
If a hiring manager asks for someone with 3 years of experience, that’s usually because they’ve already defined the scope of the role, budget, level of responsibility, reporting line, and growth path attached to that position. They’re not necessarily looking for the most experienced person available; they’re looking for the person who fits the role.
Many recruiters also fall into this trap too. An overqualified candidate applies, and they immediately assume, “This person has more experience, so they must be the better hire.”
Not always.
Someone with 10 years of experience may become dissatisfied with the salary range, responsibilities, pace of growth, or level attached to a role designed for someone with 3 years of experience. That can lead to disengagement, early exits, or constant expectations for responsibilities that were never part of the position.
I remember @nsemeke33 mentioning something about this.
More experience doesn’t automatically mean a better fit.
HRs need to stop asking if they can contact your previous employer because why are you insecure? 🙂↔️
Why are you worried about my ex when you should be focusing on us. You do not see me asking about your previous employees or why they left.
Let us focus on the role you need to fill and stop living in the past.
Something funny happened last night 😂
A candidate reached out to me complaining about how she hadn’t heard from an application she sent out days ago.
I asked her to send a follow up email with the email subject “You haven’t heard the last of me”
I used it a lot while I was job hunting and it worked 😭😂
That email was opened in seconds and they sent a response 😂😭
Guess who’s having an interview today? 🙂↔️
What am I driving at? Your email subject & email body should always make them curious enough to open it 💗
Just made me remember when my mom caught me, from jumping.
We were living on the last floor , and I was a very rough kid, I tied a towel around my neck, went to the balcony and almost jumped off.
If not for mom that held my towel 😭, I would’ve been gone 😭
And then another time where she had to stop me numerous times from putting sand in my eyes, she finally let me, and that was the last day I tried it 😭. Or when I shaved my eyebrows, she made me go to school like that 😭

I had to let go of one of our best workers this morning.
Technically he was exceptional and he knew it but after a while he became impossible to work with. He let everything get to his head.
Dismissed feedback from me multiple times. He would complain about not having light to deliver. Every deadline had an excuse attached to it.
Eventually he started slowing the whole team down, So I made the decision.
Here is what most professionals do not understand:
Your hard skills will get you hired.
Your soft skills will keep you employed.
You can be the most technically gifted person in the room and still lose your job because of how you treat people.
Communication. Emotional intelligence. Humility.
These are not nice to have. They are non-negotiable.
