T20 XI got their title defence underway with victory at Cavaliers. It was the first time Ali Hamid pulled on a Halstead shirt, hitting 36 on debut. Josh King led the way with 66, before wickets were shared around as Cavaliers fell 19 runs short.

Back-to-back three-peat as Week Three sees another three wins. The 1XI beat Maldon by 3 wickets at Star Stile, the 2XI get their first away win of the season at Mildenhall, and the 3XI are lead by an unbeaten Neale Dakin 140 to beat Chappel & WC.

No such luck for the 2XI at West Bergholt, losing by 5 wickets. Charles Mallett (29) top scoring with the bat in an under par 114 all out. Lewis Brennan (3/31), Chris Rayner (1/23) and Matt Tyson (1/30) took the wickets, but it wasn’t enough.

It’s a win at HQ as Clacton finish on 249/9. Josh Wells led the way with the bat with 141, also picking up 3/43 with the ball. Lewis Millions (45* off 21 and 1/32), Josh King (2/38), Cal O’Connell (2/57), and Sam Walter (1/46) taking the wickets.
