Especially in elderly & sports people as the FHL and FDL often have to stabilise propulsion and change direction simultaneously

New exploratory study of orthoses in people with midfoot pain showed over 12 weeks, pain and bone marrow lesion size were reduced more in the foot orthoses group compared to the control sham group

@ProfDavidHunter@jointactionorg I agree walking is vital for health and wellbeing. Due to the prevalence of lower limb OA also present in the foot. Appreciation of aids and foot wear are key. I recommend walking boots and walking poles to enhance gait efficency.
