We’ve delivered a taster session this morning with @VibeUKOrg Saturday Club to encourage and include the voice of young people with SEND. They spoke about what they would like to improve in Halton which included road safety, transport and litter!
It’s easy to feel excluded from UK elections especially when impactful issues are voted for those over 18.

On Tuesday we were joined by Kathy from @hwhalton to learn about their role and feedback the findings from our Make Your Mark health and well-being consultation.
Healthwatch act as the independent voice of local people, collecting and using feedback to improve services.
This morning Sasha and Leah are presenting at the Halton Headteachers briefing, we hope this opportunity will bring new members and support from schools so we can increase our representation and raise the voices of young people in Halton 🗣

Last night our MYP Jacob invited John Beaney from @RuncornFoodbank
We were eager to learn more about the offers in Halton and how young people are supported.
We will be exploring in our future cabinet sessions how we can support young people struggling to to access food.
