@garrytan Frankly, SF needs the National Guards. I understand wanting a more liberal approach, but the decimation of SF has been going on for over 10 years. I left in 2018 and so sad of the decay. But it got worse. SF, the city I used to love, needs drastic measures.

@sfchronicle The city center, the most vibrant spot, has been been in decay for the last 7 years since I moved away. Union Square has been decimated. Once so vibrant and now empty flag-ship stores. Soooo sad.

@MarioNawfal I moved to SF in 2001, it was pristine and beautiful. I left in 2018 when it was on its demise. Now it's trying to pull back but has been completely devastated. Union Square - stores gone. Financial District - empty. Once vibrant, now dangerous. So incredibly sad.
