France has about 350 data centers consuming about 10 TWh of energy annually.
That amount of energy could provide Air Conditioning to approximately 115 million homes.
“The report concluded that 1.5 million patients in 2024- 25, or 10 per cent, waited more than 14 hours in the ED, based on data from the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System ( NACRS).
This represents a 28- per- cent increase from 2018- 19.”
Canada’s public health care system has the dubious distinction of having the worst wait times of any developed country. Health care costs have been increasing at an unsustainable rate, putting more and more financial pressures on the budgets of provincial governments.
Canada is among the OECD countries that spend the most on health care. Ottawa’s health care transfers to the provinces have more than doubled since 2006, from $20 billion to $52 billion in 2024-25, with nothing to show for it.
The fundamental problem is that we are the only developed country where the government has a monopoly on medically required care. All other OECD countries (with the exception of the United States) have universal mixed private-public systems that guarantee citizens equal access.
Only the People’s Party has the courage to propose a real solution: repeal the Canada Health Act, and create the conditions for provincial and territorial governments to set up mixed private-public universal systems like other developed countries.

This is a bailout for struggling real estate developers.
We don’t have the money for that. It’s a scandal!
The Carney’s government is putting condo developers first, not Canadians!
C’est un plan de sauvetage $ pour des promoteurs immobiliers en difficulté.
Nous n’avons pas les moyens de payer ça. C’est un scandale !
Le gouvernement Carney privilégie les promoteurs de condominiums au détriment des Canadiens !
@GabeZZOZZ Kidnapped on the street in Ukraine, like a black man in Africa 300 years ago. However, black people ended up on plantations where they could still survive, while Zelensky's Ukrainian slaves usually die on the front lines after a few days..
Excellent decision. Well done! The Temporary Foreign Worker Program should be abolished, not expanded.
“Ontario says it will not participate in a temporary policy from the federal government to expand the number of low- wage foreign workers rural employers can hire, arguing that it would reduce opportunities for local workers, particularly young people.”
And yes, we must put Canadian young people first.
@bruce_barrett Plastic explosives can kill in that setup even if it's only a few grams worth. The pagers weren't lethal unless Hezbollah held them up to their faces. The parents of the alleged shooter are federal agents and the youth pastor headed up the manhunt. The kid was raised for israel.
@kknah91@bruce_barrett I assume you've never heard of plastic explosives or plastic explosives on a circuit board. You only need a few grams to kill with something that close to a target. The pagers were harmless unless they were held up to someone's face before detonating.
Our healthcare system is broken.
A new report just confirmed what we already knew. 1.5 million patients in 2024- 25, or 10 per cent, waited 14 hours or more in Canadian emergency departments. This represents a 28% increase from 2018-19.
This isn’t just an inconvenience. As one front-line doctor put it, “this is lethal.” For patients over 75, even one night in the ER increases the risk of death.
In the UK, they found that for every 82 patients kept waiting six to eight hours, there is one additional death.
That is happening here, right now, under our so-called “universal” system.
And what are the liberals and fake conservatives doing?
They’re either in denial or they want to throw more of your money at a system that doesn’t work. More central planning. More Ottawa meddling.
They are wrong. And they are part of the problem.
Canada already spends more than most OECD countries on healthcare. Ottawa’s health transfers have more than doubled since 2006, from $20 billion to $52 billion.
And what do we have to show for it? The worst wait times of any developed country.
Throwing more money at a broken system doesn’t fix it. It just feeds the bureaucracy.
The People’s Party of Canada has a different plan. A bold plan. A plan that works.
We are the only party that will:
· Repeal the Canada Health Act. This law gives Ottawa a stranglehold over provincial healthcare, discouraging innovation and preventing real reform.
· Allow mixed public-private universal systems. Just like every other developed country except the US. In these systems, patients have choice. Wait times are non-existent. And nobody is denied care because of low income. Everyone has insurance.
· Replace the Canada Health Cash Payment with a permanent transfer of tax points. We will give up the GST, $52 billion in revenue, and let the provinces raise and keep that money. They will be fully responsible, as provided for in the constitution, for the financing and management of healthcare.
This isn’t about ideology. It’s about saving lives. It’s about giving provinces the incentives to actually fix the problem instead of blaming Ottawa.
The establishment parties want to keep the status quo. They don’t care if you wait 14 hours in an ER. They don’t care if you die in a hallway.
We are the only ones telling the truth. We are the only ones with the courage to do what’s necessary to build a healthcare system that actually puts patients first. Not bureaucrats. Not politicians.

The ride was completely normal. They were quiet, paid the fare, gave a small tip, said thanks and got out.
The moment they left, a fucking disgusting smell slammed into my nose. I turned around and the seat was a total mess covered in nasty yellow filthy shit, wet and smeared all over the black leather.
One of those Indian bastards puked or dumped some rotten crap without saying a word. The stench was unbearable.
Fucking typical. Now I gotta clean this biohazard.
“To be clear, the industry is not “stuck.” They could sell these units, but they would have to lower the price to do so.
Of course, selling at a loss would be a bad outcome for the developers. From a business point of view, they would prefer not to.
But how does an unwillingness to do so become the government’s problem?
By stepping in, the government is allowing what is sometimes criticized as “privatizing profits and socializing losses.”
Instead of bailing out developers unwilling to sell at a loss, the Liberals should let the market do its job.”
YES, THIS CRONY CAPITALISM MUST END!
