Hamieverse Foundation is becoming Hamieverse Impact Programme!

Turns out, “Foundation” isn’t quite as simple a word to use in the UK as we thought. So instead of getting tangled up in legalities, we’re changing our name and keeping our focus where it belongs: on the work. 🤍

Clean water. Education. Community support. On-the-ground missions. Transformation. And connection between the community and the impact we create together.

Same heart.
Same mission.
A new name for what comes next. 🤍

Sometimes the smallest thing is the thing someone remembers. 🤍

A meal dropped off.
A ride when they needed one.
Someone checking in.
A stranger stopping to help.

Most of us have probably been on both sides of that at some point.

What’s one small act of kindness someone did for you that you still remember?

What if helping someone else can help us feel a little less alone? 🤍

Researchers at UCLA studied what happens when people do something with the intention of benefiting someone else.

In two experiments, something as simple as giving a gift or writing a kind note was linked to the person giving feeling less lonely and in a better mood.

Maybe that’s one of the beautiful things about impact.

The person who reaches out receives something too. 🤍

Sometimes, something as simple as having what you need to walk into a classroom ready to learn makes all the difference. 🤍

In one of our earlier Foundation missions, we partnered with GlobalGiving to support 1,500+ girls in Rajasthan, India, with basic school supplies.

Uniforms. Books. School fees. Notebooks. Stationery.
Simple things, but each one removes a barrier between a girl and her education.

And that’s the part of impact we love most: not only what was given, but what possibilities it can open for someone.

A classroom entered.
A lesson learned.
A future that opens a little wider.
A world just a little bit better.

Impact has been part of the heart of Hamieverse from the very beginning. 🤍

I don't think doing good should be something companies start doing once they're successful.

We started funding impact missions while Hamieverse was still tiny.

Not because it made financial sense, but because if purpose is genuinely part of your values, it should exist before it's convenient.

Success should increase the scale of your impact.

August was another meaningful month for the Hamieverse Foundation 🐹

This month gave us more reasons to see what can happen when people notice, care, and choose to be part of something together.

A little update from our latest mission in Nigeria.

One of the girls we met has been accepted into high school, and we’re excited to support her with ₦20,000 toward her tuition.

We’ll be cheering her on every step of the way.

Breaking the wheel starts within our own communities.

Our latest Foundation mission in Gombe State came together with the help of Atomic, a local Hamieverse community member.

“I see these children in my community every day, and I’ve always wanted to help. I feel relieved that through this Foundation, something was done. These children appreciate this a lot and they deserve it.”

Impact goes both ways.

More than 40 children in Gombe State, Nigeria have a little more support around them today 🐹

Together with the local community, we provided food, school supplies, hygiene products, and other everyday essentials.

We’re grateful to everyone on the ground who helped make it happen.

Breaking the wheel means more when we can help others do the same.

One year later, clean water is still part of everyday life in Ikot Ekpan.

20,000+ litres flowing every day.

6M+ litres provided since the project launched.

2,000+ people with reliable access to clean water.

New lighting is also making trips to collect water at night safer.

The impact doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.
