Very sad to share that Engr Asim Laang, Assistant Registrar, Coordination Department, PEC Islamabad is no more with us. He was murdered today along with his wife. He was on his way to his office and both of them were killed by unknown shooters. However the relevant capital authorities are investigating this murder case. The request has already been made to the @ICT_Police and Interior Ministry and the PEC office is continuously in touch with the authorities.
Engr. Asim was a hardworking and committed professional Engineer. I always found him sharp and dedicated officer in PEC. PEC will surely look after his kids. May Allah SWT rest his soul in eternal peace. Ameen!
