Sometimes the best days are the ones you do not plan.

As a founder and CEO, there is rarely such a thing as a full day off. When my oldest son was not feeling well and our nanny was away, I found myself with an unexpected day at home with my boys.

I took a few work calls and then brought them to one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, the @TheHuntington . We moved at a slower pace and spent time in the sun.

Research shows that unplanned days off often rank high on the happiness scale. I understand that now.

We do not always get to choose the timing. But sometimes, the interruption is the gift.

It reminded me how important it is to slow down, be present, and truly cherish the time we have with the people who matter most.

Recently I was reminded of a powerful patient story that exemplifies why we at NeuraSignal are so passionate about our work. In this video, meet Michelle Hamilton, whose potential Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) was missed by the standard of care Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE) bubble study. Thanks to our NG2 platform, we were able to accurately detect the issue, leading to a successful PFO closure procedure and a significant reduction in her stroke risk.

Collaborating with our clinical partners to deliver improved outcomes like this is at the heart of what we do—transforming lives through innovative technology in real-world settings.
