As @PahlaviReza rightly said, there can be no lasting peace as long as the Islamic Republic exists.

The Netherlands, especially @MinBZ, @ministerBZ and @ministerjenv, can take a stronger step: close the embassy of the Islamic Republic in The Hague and withdraw recognition from a regime rejected by the Iranian people.

Ik was zelf aanwezig bij deze demonstratie. Helaas is dit niet de eerste keer dat Iraanse demonstranten te maken krijgen met bedreiging, belediging en intimidatie. Wij houden al maandenlang een volledig vreedzame, 24-uurs sit-in ter steun aan een vrij Iran, maar worden bijna dagelijks met dit soort gedrag geconfronteerd.
