I hate to say it…

But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen.

There’s so few charities I trust now.

I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist.

A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens.

An education nonprofit?

Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression.

Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me.

It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

Jag tillhör de som alltid haft P1 som min älsklingskanal och anser att vi behöver Public Service för att hålla en kvalitet som inte helt kan bäras av privatägda kanaler - även om poddar och YT-kanaler på senare år i viss mån förändrat läget.

Därför är det så sorgligt att SR gör sig allt mer irrelevant för halva befolkningen.

SR och SVT måste vara opartiska - och för att det ska fungera måste de också behandla vänster- och högersympatisörer bland de anställda lika.
Och deras journalisters politiska övertygelse måste någorlunda spegla folkets.

Visst kan en anställd vara någorlunda opartisk i rapporteringen trots en stark politisk övertygelse, men ett helt kollegium där en ideologi dominerar klarar inte av att vara opartiskt: Man kan där inte skilja på vad som är någorlunda objektiv sanning (eller åtminstone konsensus inom rådande tids- och platsparadigm) och vad som bara är egna åsikter, när gruppen så starkt domineras av en politisk riktning.
