One thing that’s been weighing on my mind - many of the tweets and posts about the issues don’t put them into context. If you are to read any of them, they make it seem as if the Disney Lorcana space is rife with cheaters and it’s a cesspool of dishonest game play and bad vibes.

That isn’t the case at all.

I completely agree with the need to discuss known bad behavior, cheating, etc. and to discuss how the community may be more vulnerable to cheating due to our culture and newer player base.

However, for every person cheating, there are two players reminding their opponent about their Diablo triggers. For every person sharking, there are ten players doing their best to make sure both players have a good time.

We can have the discussion while putting the issues in context. And it’s REALLY important than we do. Because the wonderful things about the community and the culture, perhaps, are what make bad behavior more egregious.

All that to say, I find many of the posts so far about “rampant cheating” incredibly frustrating.

Had the worst tournament run playing teammates early, but I am happy with my games. The wins felt fair and within my grasp. So proud of @StrangerJona making top 32 and other locals repping all the way to top 8! Maybe next year we will get an Aussie to the top spot. #Lorcana

Great time at #DLCMelbourne 2026. The community has grown so much and the weekend had a really positive feel. Loved our @TPC_Lorcana shirts, even if we looked like a local bowls club. A massive highlight was meeting Vince from @rulesofvillainy and adopting him into our group.
