After consultations with the CPS, the Grinch has been charged with attempting to stop Christmas with intent.

He was remanded and appeared on Friday before Northam Magistrates Court where he was found guilty.

We chased him, he got away, Christmas spirit clearly didn’t slow him down.

Earlier tonight, we received a call about a burglary on Arthur Pl - our OCR dispatched patrols to attend.

Upon arrival, an officer was sprayed with what is believed to be a coercive liquid. The property then indulged in flames.

We are still manging the incident.
