Hey all! Weโve just had some fresh updates from our new dev team and here is a sneak peek video of the new renders, shaders and model styles. The new team has picked up where the previous one left off and did alot of touch up and a change of style which we think look better.
More models are also being completed in the 3D artist department and we should be seeing more models added soon to the game. Weโve also included a sneak of the legendary mecha hamster! More updates to come soon when available.
More tweaks to our map assets! We touched up the grass assets as it was previously looking too sparse and a couple other stuff too. Placing all the assets on the map gives us a better idea of how the game would look! Its not our final dream look yet but it should do for a V1 game
More updates this week! Got more of the 3D map assets done - we have some obstacles that will be outside of the battle zone, some tents where the spectators can sit and view the fight, and the texture for the ground field. Okay, back to work!
Some updates for this week!
Done modelling for the Chainsawer character. Itโs a melee character that can break characters free from ROOTED status effect. He has that multi purpose Swiss Army knife behind his back too!

Also, animation for the Cyromancer model is coming along nicely - idle, run, walk, attack. Will be importing these two characters into the battlefield soon and fixing some stuff. Then we can see it interacting with each other.
Updates for Jan 2022!
Completed the new remade 3D character model for the pyromancer as well as for the cyromancer. Both models have been fitted with rigging animations. Initial map test are available but very raw, so keep that in mind ๐ Check out our discord for updates!
Completed the new 3D models for the Cyromancer character! While we will continue to work on the other characters, the simultaneous next step is also to put the pyro and cyro together in the game and make the combat system work along with the map assets.
3D map assets have been textured! One of the things we noticed about certain similar games is that their map is static so it feels โdeadโ. We are going to try to make it animated and move with the characters so it feels more alive.
