I am not a fan of Gill, but asking a new generation player to give up T20I is so stupid because by the time he retires, he will not be able to play 150 ODI. T20I have replaced ODI. Even VK is around 180 ODI behind ST because of T20.

@Michae1cor130n3 Not purely because of a lack of ability, because Dhoni had the ability to score 50 runs in the last 40 balls, but he always used to take it to 11–12 runs in the last over and become the hero. After 2014, this method failed, and people of these times absolutely dislike him.

@lossydrive People just don't understand, but nonetheless, if Vaibhav can be consistent like he is in the IPL with the same strike rate, he will be very impactful not like Rohit, who scores 48(40) or 47(31), gets out, and is termed as killing the game in the powerplay.

@SARTHAKRANA_ @rahulsinggghhh As much as I would try to get away with Virat mistake on selector, we all know he was so much powerful in 2017–19 without any BCCI president backing him like Dhoni was getting. He was everything in those 2 years. Sadly, he didn't have any time for CT 17, but he had for 2019 WC.

@CricRP0511 @_cricketsparsh Rahul in Test and ODI is a different thing, but in T20I he was different. He just couldn’t replicate that in WC, and in the IPL he plays as an anchor. His T20 image has been damaged because of the IPL, exactly same happened with Kohli in IPL 2018–22.

Whether Sachin is better or not can be argued later, but Virat playing in the T20 era actually means he got far fewer ODI and Test, and the difference between Sachin and Kohli in ODI/Test matches is like light years.
