Brothers, I need your 3 to 5 minutes from your busy schedule. Maybe these 5 minutes can bring a positive change from today onwards.

This post is not about Investing, it is about "Effective Reading".

If you are serious about yourself and your life, then there are three steps to make reading effective.

Brothers, trust me if you follow these, after 6 months of time, your life will be far better than where it stands today.

Let's start with Step#1 which is Consumption or input 👇:

Take three books simultaneously, first should be focused on your professional development or skill development, second should be focused on your self and personal development and third should be on your passion and interest.

Set small but consistent target of reading 3 pages of each book in a day. This makes a total of 9 pages which will hardly take half an hour to complete.

Now in Step#2 which is re-production 👇

Once you read 9 pages (3 on different topics), take a diary or note book, make three portions of it and note down and journal key insights of those 9 pages in bullet points separately. This will take another half hour and will also help you in revision at any point in life.

At this stage, you will be half percentage points better than yesterday. A better version of yourself. You will feel better 👍.

Step#3 Execution/ Action with firm Patience:

This is where the true game lies. The points you learnt and then noted down will make you better by half a percentage point.

However, if you somehow manage to act on key outcomes learnt on a daily basis for the next six months, then Sky is the Limit brothers.

The simplest way of doing this is to share and spread the same information you learnt from those books. This will not only increase your respect and regards in the eyes of others but will also be the reason of Sadiqa Jareeya.

Now why three books, remember the first book you read is on skill set, now if you apply your learnings then by next 6 months, you will be at a position to maybe monetize your learnings.

If not this, then remember the 2nd book you read was on self development which stresses on exercise and if you do little exercise and eat well, after 6 months, your body will have a different shape altogether.

If not this then remember the third book you were reading was of your interest and passion and just like me if you are passionate about investing then you can go at any lengths and find out investment opportunities that can make you financially better after 6 months.

Brothers, would like to share a small example that when I read a book of Dale Carnegie where he just wrote that to make a lasting impression on others, put a smile on your face and do a little research of the person you are meeting for the first time and just call by his name, the impression you will have on the other person would be really great and ever lasting. When I applied this small act, it did really work.

Since then I apply these small learnings in my daily life and the point where I am today vs where I was 6 months ago has changed a lot.

The reason I am writing this is another example of act of spreading information. Because of only 1 person is able to act on that positive information, this would be an achievement in itself and you will be the reason.
