I have a great personality & amazing sense of humor (Iโm real life funny) and yโall havenโt had the chance to see it on tv since โThe Circleโ โญ๏ธ
That HAS to change this year. Iโd love to do more TV and even more reality.
I just added a sentence to my book and thought "This is perfect! It's exactly what this chapter needed." Then, two paragraphs later, I realized that I had already written nearly the exact sentence for the exact same reason.
Seeing as this was a part of a character's dialog, I see no issue.
People speak in flawed ways; I would argue that it's immersion breaking to have everyone using perfect english.
I find it equally important to preserve what exists while also adapting and adopting new phrases, through the accredited channels.
If it ain't Webster Merriam, and it ain't Oxford, I ain't listening.
