1. You haven’t done frame by frame animation before.
2. You haven’t seen sketches and animatics by frame by frame animators before
3. You haven’t worked closely with frame by frame animators closely before
4. You probably don’t even draw professionally

@MissCherriii @MezzaBonSens @DmitryDeceiver @CloakOfWit It doesn’t need to be, it has values for reference. It’s not an exact copy is an intention from the artist, but does not diminish the fact that it is trying to imitate the reference as much as possible.

Also I don’t think you’ve done oil painting before as well :)

This one looks less confident (scratchy). The painting has very confident sketch lines.

When artists mature, their lines will too. And line quality doesn’t change drastically from 1 to another.

No one colors like this unless your level of mastery is beyond legends like Kim Jung Gi who can just doodle a perfect drawing without sketches or base color blocks
