Leading Modern Moroccan Philosopher Taha Abd al-Rahman:
Ibn Taymiyyah surpassed al-Ghazali in originality and critiqued Aristotelian Logic correctly while Ghazali adopted it

In the City of Amorium, a Muslim woman was taken captive by the Romans, and one day a Roman soldier publicly slapped her on the face
In that moment, she cried out “O Mu’tasim! Where are you?”
The Roman laughed and mockingly said to her “He will not come to you except on a piebald horse”
When the news of this incident reached Caliph al-Mu’tasim, his face turned completely red from anger
He then sealed his cup that he was drinking from and handed it to his cupbearer, saying:
“By Allah, I shall not drink it until I free that noble woman from captivity and kill that Roman”
He then called upon the Muhammadan armies to march against Amorium and ordered that none of the soldiers should ride except on piebald horses
They marched out alongside him on roughly seventy thousand piebald horses
When Allah granted him victory with the conquest of Amorium
He entered answering her call:
Labayyki, Labayyki
At your service! At your Service!
He then sought out the Roman who had held the noble Muslim woman as a captive, struck off his head, and freed the woman from her chains
Then he said to the cupbearer:
“Bring me my sealed cup”
He broke the seal, and he drank from it, saying:
“Now drinking is pleasant”
May Allah forgive him and reward him with goodness
~ Ibn al-Imaad al-Hanbali
Apart from the poorly worded syllogism, in formal logic (minor logic), it’s a valid AAA-1 categorical syllogism
However in material logic (major logic), the content of your syllogism breaks down terribly
For starters your argument hinges on equivocating the subject (minor term) in the minor premise. It shifts between the originated events themselves and the locus/substrate in which those originated events take place
Treating them as equivalent is a category error and it’s the reason why some of the mutakallimīn were troubled by this fallacious argument and denied that it yields certainty
At the Battle of Walajah, Khalid ibn al-Walid dueled a Persian champion titled “Hazarmard” (A Thousand Men)
After killing him, he sat leaning on the corpse, called for his lunch, and ate calmly between the two battle lines with blood-stained arrows in his turban
We all know that Heraclius foresaw the rise of the Prophet ﷺ through astrology - per Bukhari. But did you know that EARLY, NON-Muslim accounts corroborate this story? 🧵
The earliest is the chronicle of Fredegar, written ~660 CE, less than 20 years after Heraclius' death!...
May Allah bless them for it. @dawahxdialogues@TaymiApologia@SeerahDawah
One thing I would say, though, is this, as Muslims, how many times do we keep going onto platforms made by Christians or non-Muslims? Why keep helping disbelieving platforms profit, making thousands of dollars, instead of supporting projects and channels that can produce this kind of content for ourselves?
Modern Day Debate is still being used by some of the biggest Muslims today, despite his clear blasphemy against the Prophet ﷺ. Sister Korra also debated on what seemed to be a Christian woman’s platform, where the guests seemed disproportionately matched. Hadith rejectors on the Muslim side, while the Christian side had committed Christian apologists. Despite that, she still did very well.
We should support initiatives such as @CGMediaCo, who are building a channel that gives conservative Muslims a voice without having their deen misrepresented. The brothers working on it are trustworthy and Muslims.
They are also willing to fly out guests and run the same kind of format as these other channels. So if they need anything, we should be willing to support them and provide whatever is needed to help such organisations grow.

Badr al-Din al-Ayni describes this individual perfectly:
Like a dung beetle that dies from the smell of a rose
Like a bat that can’t stand light due to its corruption of sight
Does not have intellect nor discernment
A nobody who is a son of a nobody that’s a son of a nobody
@alhaouaoui1 د.
My tweet has caused an uproar on the Turkish and Arabic side of X
Truly unfortunate, since Taha Abd al-Rahman is actually known for his resemblance to Ghazali and is considered as “Modern Ghazali” by both admirers and critics

@SchnitzelKroos I’m only reading what the passage says. The passage says an Ash’ari scholar got beat by the same bludgeon that the Angels use to herd the Kuffar in hell
It definitely doesn’t say he might have disrespected and made fun of al-Sanusi as you said
Did you know that Ash’aris believe it’s possible for an Ash’ari to get beat by Munkar & Nakir with a bludgeon made of iron (Quran 22:21, picture included) for not reading the Sanusi creed?
Ash’ari Saint tells a story of a deceased man who got beat twice by angered Munkar & Nakir
@SchnitzelKroos It doesn’t say that he might have disrespected or made fun of Sanusi, this is a misreading
He is saying the scholar perhaps didn’t read it out of Tanqis (diminishment) or I’itiradh (aversion/objection) for the text
Multiple objections arise with this explanation from al-Anbabi
@The6ikhwan If it’s only the English translation without the Arabic along with it, it would be less abhorrent but carries similar tone
The idea that it’s commendable to gift it these Anjaas though is absurd
Gifting a Najis disbeliever a copy of the Quran is one of the worst things you can do
How can you let a blasphemer touch the Quran let alone have it as possession when the scholars say the exact opposite
I’m disgusted by this
The Ash’ari sage al-Anbabi attempts to respond to a possible objection
“There is no punishment on what’s permissible”
Stating that perhaps the absence of reciting it was due to inner-spiritual illness such as diminishment or aversion to al-Sanusi’s book
