Faster Patent Protection: If your patent application has already been successfully examined by either ARIPO or @CnipaChina, you can now request accelerated examination in the other office. This cuts down on duplication and speeds up the entire process!
Reduced Costs & Uncertainty: Less back-and-forth means less time and money spent on patent prosecution, providing greater legal certainty for your valuable IP.

We are at the technical training on trade marks for examiners and engagement with IP Agents. On day 1, our Lorraine Takaendesa led an insightful training on the common practices for avoiding ex officio action and trade mark prosecution delays.
The Technical Training on Trademarks for Examiners and Engagement with IP Agents in ARIPO Member States hosted by ARIPO in collaboration with @AfricaIPR#AfrIPI, started today in Harare.
The training was officially opened by the ARIPO Director General, Mr. Bemanya Twebaze and the Ambassador of the @euinzim, represented by Mr. Franck Porte, Head of Cooperation, and Mr. Carlos Lleó, Acting Project Leader, AfrIPI.
As this three-day training program unfolds, it holds promise not only for enhancing individual skills but also for contributing to a more cohesive approach to trademark examination throughout the ARIPO region.
The anticipated outcomes include improved efficiency in processing trademark applications, greater consistency in examination practices, and ultimately, an increase in registered intellectual property rights that can stimulate economic growth across Member States.
