“Fundraising is such a big area and the opportunities can overwhelm those who are have never raised funds before…”
Michael Mogan, Swim England’s head of fundraising, offers some advice to clubs on the best ways to boost coffers 👇
More than 200 swimming pools in England will remain closed despite being able to reopen as lockdown restrictions are eased, in what Swim England called
a "catastrophe for the health and wellbeing of the nation". https://t.co/Cp6CIAMVUd
@PottersBarSwim @JMNSwimmer @Swim_England Ours to as same PO in our main pool. But the public over 18 year olds can swim in the lane beside our training
@JMNSwimmer @FreedomLeisure This is a lovely thing for them to do 🥰🏊🏊♀️ But CAN Masters over 18yrs swim in Tier 2 please. Thank you @JMNSwimmer for EVERYTHING you and your team are doing.
@bobbiesgordon @Dad72Swim @britishswimming I strongly advise against breaking rules for over 18yrs you risk the club Swim England insurance for all swimmers. What happens if one of them has an accident? SE won't cover it if you're breaking the guidance. As frustrating as this is for us all we need to wait for clarity.
A hard and very sensible decision @hcasa. Thank you for announcing this. Stay safe everyone and ENJOY being back in the water, if you're lucky enough to be back 🏊♀️🏊♂️ https://t.co/t5lI1fDQnO
Our chief executive @JMNSwimmer has just finished a call with @Sport_England and whilst we are awaiting confirmation from the @CommonsDCMS on today's announcement, we understand it will impact water polo and team artistic swimming but will issue an update after the PM’s speech.

First week back done & dusted. Well done all HWSC swimmers especially the younger ones getting up at 5am for the first time. Thanks to EVERYONE involved in getting our swimmers back in the water. ENORMOUS shout out to Sue Dewar who has played a major part in making this happen.
