Two days ago, Mark Carney told everybody that Canadians are going to have to suffer. It's going to be hard, and some will suffer more than others. We need to brace ourselves.

All because of Donald Trump.

Today, he announced a $785 million commitment for Ukraine, for a whopping total of $25.5 billion in aid since 2022.

Just imagine what we could have done in this country with $25.5 billion.

How anybody can support this guy is just beyond me.

He is using Donald Trump to blind Canadians into believing that he's the demon, when, in fact, the real demon has the levers of power in Ottawa.

The CBC is the state broadcaster and only exists because Canadians are forced to pay for it through their taxes.

The very least it can do is cover all sides of the issues.

You said a year ago you would lower grocery prices.

But your taxes and recession gave Canada the worst food inflation in the G7. You raised the industrial carbon tax on farm equipment, fertilizer and food processing. Your weak economy and weak dollar have lowered purchasing power and raised the cost of imported food.

The Conservative plan is to suspend all fuel taxes for the rest of the year, end the industrial carbon tax, and cut inflationary spending so farmers can grow more for less and Canadians can afford groceries.
