If you have upbraided, or passed judgment on, or vexed your brother, your peace is lost. If you have been boastful, or have exalted yourself above your fellow, you have lost grace. If you did not drive away forthwith the wanton thought that came to you, your soul will lose love for God and boldness in prayer.
St Silouan the Athonite
Great article written in counter to Greg Lemelson and his recent hypocritical trash campaign against the rest of Orthodoxy to generate clicks for himself.

"If you ever begin to think you are spiritually "well off" then you can know for sure that you aren't! True spiritual life, even on the most elementary level, is always accompanied by suffering & difficulties. Therefore you should rejoice in all your difficulties & sorrows." - Hieromonk Seraphim Rose

@criticalreya Vanity tattoos are just that, vanity. There are parts of the world where you have to identify yourself as Christian or the powers that be will bury you without Christian rites or will kidnap your child and convert them. So all things need discernment.
‘When a Russian bishop, traveling to the West for the first time since the fall of Communism, was asked by Western Christians (Protestants and Roman Catholics), "What does the Russian Orthodox Church do to address social issues?" the bishop humbly replied, "We celebrate the Holy Liturgy." Surprised by his answer, they didn't understand him. They didn't understand for one simple reason: they don't understand the Church and don't know what it means to celebrate the Divine Liturgy. This was the best answer, for the Liturgy is the entrance to the Kingdom of Heaven, the entrance to this eternal reality that has no need of any social service.’

@Alex_Ortodoxie Make sure you are praying for him everyday. I made an "enemies of God and the Holy Orthodox Church" list, which sadly gets longer by the day, so pray for him.☦️🙏
@AugustineOrtho@ThomasByrn35550 If a person desires to save their soul they will denounce their errors, and be baptized. God works miracles every minute of everyday.
