Handoff - AI Assistant for Construction

The AI Assistant Built for Construction. Run your projects end-to-end with Handoff, from first takeoff to final payment.

Trace one project from estimate to schedule, budget, and invoice.

Every number or date you retype creates another chance for an error. Your project app should carry that information forward automatically, then connect it to your accounting software.

Run one completed project through an AI estimating tool and compare it with your original estimate line by line.

Check the scope, pricing, assumptions, and time required. The result will show whether your current process is protecting your capacity and margin.

Your estimating process sets a ceiling on how much work your business can pursue.

If every bid takes four hours, increasing your bid volume also means giving up more nights and weekends.

Here’s what that limit costs your business 🧵

[Handoff - AI Assistant for Construction @HandoffAI]

Chicago contractor Tim O’Keefe reduced a two-to-four-hour estimate to 20 minutes.

In the time it once took him to send four proposals, he could send twelve without adding an estimator or lowering his review standards.

That changed the capacity of his business.

Construction software is shifting from storing information to completing the admin work around it.

Recent investments in AI estimating, payroll, and financial tools point in the same direction. Contractors should judge each tool by one number: how many manual hours it removes every week.

Anthony Reid won a $35K project using Handoff.

On October 22, he’ll join Handoff Breakfast Club to walk through exactly how he took the project from the first visit to a signed contract.

We’ll also break down how to calculate the markup needed to reach your target margin.

Everyone who joins will leave with a markup and margin cheat sheet they can use on their next estimate.

Project tasks shouldn’t disappear into group chats and spreadsheets, or printed lists.

Handoff’s Task Management now lets you manage work from end-to-end alongside the estimates, schedules, and project information your team already uses.

[Handoff - AI Assistant for Construction @HandoffAI]

Tasks with due dates appear automatically on the project schedule.

You can see what’s open, overdue, due soon, or completed without checking another tool. On Scale, subs and vendors can complete assigned tasks through the Sub & Vendor Portal without a paid seat.

If your crew has to call you every time they need a scope detail, schedule update, or client decision, you’re running every project from memory.

Here’s how to move that information somewhere your team can actually use it 🧵

[Handoff - AI Assistant for Construction @HandoffAI]

Start with one active project instead of moving everything at once.

Choose the project generating the most questions, add its schedule, scope, and open changes, then see how many interruptions disappear by Friday.
