pumla v1.1.0 has been released. It introduces support for requirements mgmt. in a docs-as-code manner:

Today I declared pumla as "production ready" and created the v1.0.0 release!
pumla is a PlantUML-based models-as-code solution that enables model re-use.

@simonbrown at least the so called "integration tests" should go directly against the architecture. in order for that to make sense, the elements in the architecture must really "mean something concrete", and not be just fuzzy boxes where everyone has a different interpretation.
Thanks @simonbrown for referencing to pumla as C4model tool with reuse capabilities in the C4model tooling section. Great overview there:

Working on a #pumla example using "ports" in #PlantUML... quite some layout issues. This was with standard direction top down and default linetype ortho.
@PlantUML same code from here https://t.co/58UAvaZx9o but with "left to right direction" commented out:
@PlantUML
2 issues here: 1. the note on bottom right is disconnected from displayTemp element, 2. the internals interfering with components.
Issues disappear when ports are removed
@PlantUML I simplified the example. Here is the code to this picture here https://t.co/58UAvaZx9o
3 issues I see: 1. disconnect of top note to displayTemp element, 2. ports not on the left border of the component, 3. internal elements get in the way of the component name.
@unclebobmartin so true, unfortunately most people don't understand the idea of DSL's, ending up with "Dataflow/matlab simulink" is the DSL and the domain is "advanced systems engineering"... 😫
New "development environment". Replaced the late 2013 MacBook Pro with the Mac Studio. The MacBook now is assigned to pure portable tasks...
pumla - re-usable models as code https://t.co/oNOXgsjcke #uml#plantuml#softwarearchitecture#MacStudio#Apple
pumla is still alive! although there did not happen much development in the last 3 month, the goal is to overcome the beta status and go for a 1.0 release within the next 6 month.

@dk_1977 if you are working on big projects with several teams this one might help to not re-draw the same aspects again and again: https://t.co/oNOXgsjcke
